I have been
painting in oils for over 40 years and am now offering inexpensive original
oil paintings of your pet
from photos or jpegs. All paintings are on canvas panels using professional
quality paints and materials that will literally last for centuries
(I have paintings on canvas panels that I did in the 1960's and they
look like they were painted yesterday).

ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS - NOT PRINTS OR COMPUTER MANIPULATIONS OR TRANSFERS.
I PERSONALLY PAINT AND SIGN EACH PAINTING.

NOT CONFUSE THESE WITH THE ANONYMOUSLY PRODUCED, UNSIGNED AND RATHER
WOODEN APPEARING PICTURES OFFERED FROM FOREIGN GROUP "WORKSHOPS."
Paintings
are all 8 inches by 10 inches and will be delivered in a simple wooden
frame (included in the price) ready to hang on your wall or display
on a tabletop. I have found this to be a very nice size that displays
easily in many different areas. Other sizes are available, please contact
me for details.
PAYMENT AND
PHOTOS: Upon receipt of your payment (PayPal preferred) email contact
will be established and arrangements made for either the mailing of
your photos or the emailing of your jpeg's. All photos will be returned
with the oil painting portrait. Your painting will be done based on
the photos or jpegs (preferred) you send so please indicate which one
is the pose you want in your pet's portrait. It is also important that
you indicate which of the images shows your pet's true color. As a true
pet lover and longtime pet owner I welcome any information you wish
to offer regarding your pet that will help me infuse the painting with
their personalty.
APPROVAL
PROCESS: Once I receive your photos the oil portrait of your pet will
be completed within three weeks (usually less) and a jpeg of the painting
will be emailed to you for your approval. Any modifications you wish
to suggest will be cheerfully accepted.
SHIPPING:
Once approved, I will carefully pack your painting and mail it to you
at a flat rate charge of $12 within the United States. Please inquire
for international shipping charges.
VARNISHING:
Your original oil painting will arrive protected by a light coat of
varnish called retouch varnish which, while protective, will still allow
your painting to dry further. Once totally dry (6 months to a year)
you can easily obtain and apply the final coat of picture varnish for
further protection if you wish.
